About your counsellor

A warm, qualified space to begin

I'm a BA (Hons) qualified Pluralistic Counsellor and Registered Member MBACP, working with adults across Somerset and online. My practice is built on the belief that you are the expert on your own life, and that therapy works best when it's shaped around you.

Your counsellor — a warm, professional portrait

My background

I completed my BA (Hons) Counselling and Therapeutic Practice working pluralistically with individuals navigating a wide range of life challenges. My training equips me to draw on multiple therapeutic approaches, from person-centred and cognitive-behavioural techniques to mindfulness and psychodynamic thinking, so that our work together is always tailored to what feels right for you.

I am a Registered Member MBACP, which means I work within a clear ethical framework and commit to ongoing professional development and supervision.

I offer sessions online, in person in Somerset, and by telephone, so that counselling can fit around your life, wherever you are.

How I work

My approach is collaborative and non-judgemental. From our very first conversation, we'll talk about what you're hoping to get from counselling and what kind of support feels most helpful. There is no single 'right' way to do therapy - and I believe the relationship between counsellor and client is at the heart of meaningful change.

Areas I work with

I work with adults on a wide range of concerns, including:

Anxiety and worry
Depression and low mood
Stress and burnout
Trauma
Abuse and recovery
Grief and bereavement
Relationship difficulties
Self-esteem and confidence
Life transitions and change
Identity and self-discovery
Work-related stress
Loneliness and isolation

If you don't see your concern listed, please get in touch — I'm happy to discuss whether I can help.
